About

What I’ll be writing about are topics that I believe are important to massage clients and therapists – after all, they are inherently connected. Whether it’s current trends, techniques, or just random thoughts, it will be always about massage. maybe.
My background before entering massage school in 2003 was in the Graphic Arts, ranging from production, design, and management.  All these skills have served me as as a massage therapist and I’ve been fortunate to have been given many opportunities to share them with students and other MTs.  My goal is for this blog to be an extension of that sharing process.
In the time I have been involved in the massage world I have gone from being told it would be a struggle due to my gender, to directing and teaching at a school and now running a very successful full-time private practice. The lessons I continue to learn and share have often been intense, but all have been immensely rewarding.
